• A murder injury has been launched following the death of pregnant mother-of-two, 27-year-old Sarah Montgomery, in Donaghadee in Co Down. 
• Two more names have surfaced as potential nominees for candidacy for the upcoming presidential election as Mary Hanafin has confirmed her intention to vie for the Fianna Fáil nomination. 
• Members of Belfast rap group Kneecap will not face any charges relating to footage allegedly calling for the death of British MPs during a gig in November 2023.
• From tomorrow, couples experiencing ‘secondary infertility’, whereby they are having difficulty conceiving a second child, will be eligible to avail of free fertility treatment, such as IVF, under the government-funded scheme. 
• Taoiseach Micheál Martin is due to travel to Japan tomorrow, where he will visit Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima. 
• Minister James Lawless has indicated that a universal cut to college fees for all undergraduate students in Ireland will not be replicated in this year’s budget.

#GLASTONBURY: British police are assessing videos of comments made by acts Kneecap and Bob Vylan at the Glastonbury music festival yesterday to decide whether any offences may have been committed.

#UKRAINE: Russia launched its biggest aerial attack on Ukraine overnight, a Ukrainian official said on Sunday, part of an escalating bombing campaign that has further dashed hopes for a breakthrough in efforts to end the three-year-old war.

#GAZA: Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israeli air strikes and gunfire killed 23 people in the war-ravaged Palestinian territory on Sunday, including at least three children.

#SERBIA: Serbia’s president has announced more arrests of anti-government protesters, after clashes with police at a massive rally demanding an early parliamentary election.
